It certainly looks good, but (I might be wrong about this) isn't mulatto a derogatory term?

mulatto is the spanish word for mule, meaning half-horse, half-donkey...it's a very derogatory term. i'd say mixed race.

the fingers are messed up. and from the way he is holding it, the weapon looks like it was a last minute addition to the image

Looks good but his left leg is poision wrong and the weapon needs more deatil like a handle

I was always taught that mulatto isn't a derogatory term.

I dont know if its derogatory but it sounds nice doesnt it? Oh well, looks really good, I agree that it could use some more detail on the sword though, even if it was just a little sheen of light or something, also with the leg, basically the way he is now he looks slightly bow legged, if you didnt want that look you would need to straighten the angle between the knee and the thigh. Lots of character in that face. nice work!

I didn't realize mulatto was derogatory but now that I think about it it can be!

Thanks for the crits, I know it's not a very refined drawing.
