hey guys, i need help with hair. how do you get the reflections and all the strands of hair without making them clump together. and also the softness of the hair.

it would be great if you guys can post a few pics

mostly femail hair.

I'm assuming you use a pencil. My techniques change according to what my references look like. Usually I identify the locks of hair. Then feather the hair for texture. Then I add in shading.
