So is this good or not? *the first is the before picture, scroll down for the after ;)

I know it's not fantastic but it's a good 2 hours of drawing on the Wacom. I had to go digital this time, as I'm trying to perfect my skills with digital mediums.

I was thinking of drawing some birds and animating the picture, smoke rings included (I DID make it in Flash after all)...

Is this a decent effort or should I have put more time into the design and effort?

I have already improved this image from an earlier one not long ago.
So if you don't mind I will show the before and after. Would you say I went in the right direction with this drawings progression.

Any comments are much appreciated.

Notice the gnomes two right big toes... :rofl: I missed that entirely.

well.. nice effort.
two hours is a lot for someone like me. Yet if i were you i would use those hours to study and LEARN drawing.
The good news is that you are in the right place.
You will get A LOT of help if you prove that you are willing to learn. See MCM (i'm totaly obsolete now).
So.. welcome - looking forward seing you in the life drawing forum!
