Character: Fantasy based on Civil War

This is a Character I've been messin around with, but only recently used Civil War books to reference the "atmosphere" (guns, clothes, objects). C & C are welcome and if you can be as harsh as you want. I want the honest truth to what you guys think. I'm thinkin about coloring him if I can get painter to stop crapping out on me. Thx.

the art is pretty solid- 2 things i noticed though

1 - some of it is pretty ambiguous, this could be cause it isnt finished, but for example where the legs end and feet begin of the guy or vice versa is slightly undefined

2 - the creature looks like it still needs some work, especially to make his stance believable, i feel like maybe the front legs should extend farther atleast, the way you have him now he looks pretty unstable

You're absosutley right on those things. The problem with the stance of the creature is like that because he's on a very small peak of a hill which I'm now noticing didn't scan too well. Back to the drawing board. Thx for the crits.
