This is more or less an article pimping a photoshop plug in for color selection, but I still found it to be an interesting read.

Never never never trust a barker who's better at peddling information than using it. If the information were good, the art would be good. This, I kid thee not, is the first line from this guy's blog:

As a product development and hype spewing evangelist, I remind my clients of a Dogbert line in a Dilbert cartoon... "there is a fine line between marketing and fraud" which I say with a big smile, and then we get to work crafting the press releases about what the product will do.

And, in general, never trust anybody who calls themselves a "master" unless they can kick your ass in martial arts.

Unless this guy claims to be a master candy-striper, which would make a lot of sense.

Yeah, I'm gonna do a little research on this. I came upon this in one of my LinkedIn groups. The guy that posted the link I posted made mention of it using Fibonacci to create pleasing color pallets, which is what drew me to even looking at it in the first place. But after reading it I found no use of Fibonacci at all. The same guy then posts a bunch of links relating Fibonacci to color pallet choices, which I've yet to emerge myself in. Then the guy who wrote the article replies to this LinkedIn conversation praises my astute observation claiming that with ease I've mastered something that most of his top people struggle with. No job offer though. It seems like an interesting theory but there's a tingle in my sack that says something is awry here.
