Don't know if I posted this in the right forum but Im trying to make some digital art videos and I need a reliable video screen capture program.
I have Camtasia 5 but it seems to lag quite a bit (It's not an issue of memory or video card).

Can anyone recommend a good vid cap program that doesn't lag, has editing features (for adding music), and is compatible with Vista?

Thanks

I know most gamers either use fraps, or the xfire embedded screen recorder, you could try using those. I have never used any type of software to capture you screen so thats all i can suggest.

Webcammax works well.

But I don't think it can add music. Either way, if you're going to add stuff in you're better off by using editing software.
