should i do it? i have a sketch that i dont want wearing on to the other page in moleskin i'm thinking about using a fixative has anyone else done that before? Would it make the page perhaps brittle-- if the fixative even adheres to the page?
thanks

I don't think a mole would appreciate being sprayed with fixative. It works great in Moleskine sketchbooks, however.

NO because there is a a high chance of the pages catching on fire if you use the wrong paper!

I have sprayed fixative on the pages of my moleskine sketchbook. It works just fine with no damage to the paper. I also glob acrylic gloss medium , watercolours, glue, blood, mud, beer, pasta sauce, etc, etc on the pages of my moleskine. They also work just fine, although other definitions of "fine" might not apply.
In my opinion, unless the finished thickness of a sketchbook is at least twice the starting thickness, you need to put more effort into it.
But to get back to your initial question, spray fixative is quite innocuous. It does exactly what it is advertised to do, and no more.
