hi, i'm ethan, i'm new to ca, sorry mods for my first sketchbook post,
being a n00b i didnt read not to use img tags. i figured out i have to
use command+click for the attachment manager as safari loads it,
replacing my post page. what a pain in the ass. anyway.
i'm very new to tablets with photoshop, i'm not new to photoshop.
i'm just getting a grasp of how to paint/block in in photoshop, as
all my previous charcoal etc was mostly black/white and not paint,
so this is new to me to say the least.
advanced critique welcome, although none of this is quiet anything
finished.
the first was my second draw in photoshop to start a painting,
and really irritated myself with wether or not to use a transparent
sketch layer to start or just go with a white canvas. it was irritating.
the next two are just different stages of progress playing with blocking
in, blending, leaving the sketch lines, etc. its nowhere near done, but
i'm feeling more confident with photoshop as a drawing medium.
again, i've never done paintings. sketchings/charcoal has been my thing.
i'll post some older charcoals later.
