cheap sketches if my scanner came out better with light pencil marks it would be better.. by the way im using a regular pencil so that also effects the scan.. just getting a pose down

hey man i have seen your posts in diferent threads here and there- and your making a valient effort, but im alittle struck as to why you are posting unfinished sketches in the "3d" section? Also why did you "ink" the top sketch before it was done? I would spend atleast a few days getting the anotmoy right, and perspective- case in point the right hand holding the sword is all off, same goes for the carlessness of the hulk dude holding the axe handel (you didnt even erase the line of the handel that is going through his hand). I like that you are trying, and your concepts, though nothing new then whats already been done and done better, still show you have an imagination. My advise spend more time on your work, get a clear idea of what your trying to put on paper in your head, draw thumbnails to get proportion right, then dive into a full on drawing. If your proud of it then and you think it might stand out or showo great improvement over your past works then post it. Good luck man...

I think what you've got here is a good start.
You may want to consider doing your sketches in something other than very simple line work though.
Tone and lighting values can be critical in showing the form in a sculpture, especially when lit with a source light.
Also, get a friend to pose for you while you sketch, it will help the anatomy some.
Good luck!

I say less sketches and more sculptures!

that doesnt mean sketch more and skulpt less.. posting wise.. in the 3d forum i think i would recommend only posting your sculptures and perhaps at the top of the sculpture thread your sketch you are working from. The rest of your sketches should go to the sketches and doodles section.

You have been posting about sculptures for a little bit now and i would like to see some.
