Water Colours or Acrylic based paint

I am new amateur artist trying to paint garden wildlife.
I have sketched many of the animals who visit the garden but now I want to do watercolour or acrylic type paintings. Which is easier to start with? any advice welcome.

Hello

You might try water colors first, and practice adding loose washes of color to your drawings. After you become more use to handling paints start doing some acrylic work.
