In order to access the info, you've to pay like US$12.95 per month. I wonder if anyone here is a member of that, because they seem to offer lots of stuff.

US$12.95 may not be huge, but to me it's expensive! 1 year and it would be US$150++.

EDIT: I just read on the site that the guy doing all this is Matthew Archambault, and it says he teaches at the School of Visual Arts, which I believe is the same school that Elwell is teaching?

I got a trial membership a last year, the videos are good and he knows his stuff. I didn't feel like it was for me though. I think he still offers the $1 month trial membership so I'd suggest doing that!

Also, are the discussion forums there active (compared to CA)?

Yeah, Matt and I actually went to school together. I don't have any first-hand knowledge of his on-line program beyond what you can see on the site, but he knows his stuff. If you think it looks like it could be helpful, give the one-week trail membership a shot.

It just bills one month at a time, so if you don't like it, cancel. Matt's not like some sleazy porn site that's going to sign you up forever and make it impossible to cancel ;).

There this unscrupulous porn site which I subscribed to last year, for only 1 month, but they billed me for the straight 12-month package, which I was very sure I did not even click on that (the subscription is still going on now).

Fuck that, I say. That money could have been used for Matt's website.

Hey , thanks for identifying this site it seems pretty cool definatley something that intrests me to help me develop my skills!
And yes porn sites are a big no no they are just money grabbers ahh!!

LOL, no problem. Matt's videos are very good and clear and concise, real easy to understand. It's like a fucking real teacher explaining concepts to you. :D

For those who don't have the money or luxury to go to art schools, this is the next best shit ever.
