Uhm, first off I feel kinda stupid asking this but I have noone I know irl whom I could ask this. I need to start thinking about my portfolio (uni, architecture) and my perception of a portfolio is pretty vague.

How many pieces should be included in a portfolio as in haw much is not enough and how much is way too much? Also whether for a uni portfolio I should include more sketchy works as well.

Now I need the portfolio on paper. What's the best size? A4, A3? Also if my portfolio is a mix of digital and traditional should I scan the traditionals, clean them up and present as prints (as digital work will obviously be printed). And should it be somehow bound or is just loose papers in a mop OK?
