Currently all the characters in my portfolio are my own style, it wasn't intentional, that's just how I paint but I've been applying to jobs and many of them want to see a portfolio with a variety of styles. What would be some of the most desired styles that they would want to see?

The ones that first come to mind are realistic, anime, superhero/comic, what other styles would be good to work on?

Thanks

It depends on the ADand the project, for exemple, Jon Shindehette (sp?) on ArtOrder, often has calls for artists in specific styles. Like: "someone who draws like Tim Bradstreet" or "b&w inkwork for interior book pages" it really depends on the project. And it depends on your interest and ability to render in that particular style.
