This may seem a pretty weird question.
What memories do you want to be able to recall, or would you want to not remember anymore?
May be art-wise or just from everyday life.
We have an interaction desgn project at uni, and we're to produce a piece of software that helps remembering or forgetting a certain thing.
Looking forward to your comments!

I wouldn't want to forget anything, since every bad thing thats happened to me thus far has helped shape me into a better person. And if i forget about all the dumb shit i've done over the years i might just go out and do them again. :P
I would like to remember.. hmm.. i forgot.

Where I put my car keys. Oh, c'mon, I can't be the only one who wastes 15 minutes two or three times a week looking for their car keys (sometimes when I have them in my hand).
I am? Okay, I'll get my coat....

I want to forget nasty, painful situations, in a physical way. Especially when I got my wisdom teeth out. The doctor had begun cutting too early, the anesthesia hadn't set in. So I got my gum cut up to the bone, before I could scream. He waited some more, and then the fucking tooth didn't want to come off the jaw bone. So he used a saw to separate them. It was chaos. I tasted blood, smelled blood, could feel chips of bone on my tongue, the sound of the saw was torturing.
I want to forget that. I grind my teeth anytime someone mentions wisdom teeth. I can't do anything against it, sometimes I grind so hard that it starts bleeding. Fucking teeth.
And remember (more important): I want to remember a lot of my childhood memories. Happy times, the feelings you have as a kid that you lose over time, the feelings and impressions when you come to a certain place or meet certain people. I think after some years, you've seen all those places, the magic is pushed aside by things that you think are more important. I have memories of sunday mornings with the sunrays in the living room, lying around on the carpet, watching the dust in the golden air. Back then it seemed boring. Now I wish I could relive those moments. Awww :P

There are a lot of things from my childhood which I would like to remember in more detail, as so many memories, places I had been to and things I had done as a child have faded, and everything seemed so "magical" back then, especially when I look back and remember those experiences. There are a lot of places I remember going to, but I don't know whether they are real places, something I imagined as a child or dreamt about while I was asleep.
I'm not writing what I want to forget here, as I want to forget it...

I want to remember and never forget that feeling i got when i saw Wes's drawing of nibru the day after i first saw the post with no reply's. It was a HOLY SHIT?! WTF!? THATS AWESOME!! type of feeling.
artistically though i want to never for how certain people or family members look so i can draw them without reference, i got scared the first year i went to college and i didn't see mom that whole year and i couldn't remember her face for some reason ever since then i've been trying to remember the way people look it scared me that much.

A fantastically obese work colleague once bent down to pick something up (probably a cheeseburger) and I saw his monster hairy butt cleft loom before me like the Biblical Valley of The Shadow Of Death. Occasionally, in the flashbacks that followed, I feared that I'd actually witnessed his anus. So, if I had to forget one thing in my life, just one, it would be that.
