I'm having a serious lag problem. I already disabled the input service in windows. The problem goes away when I go into the tablet properties and disable the "click" on pen nib, however, this means I can't click with the pen tip. If I leave it on click it has a big lag before starting to draw, which is especially bothersome when trying to do quick strokes. any ideas?

Are you working really high-res, like 4k-4k?

Nope, this happens even when working 640-320
Oh, I forgot to say before that my computer is a dual core t9400 2.5ghz, 4gb ddr3 ram, 512mb graphics geforce 9600m gt. I'm using 64bit windows 7.

I've noticed this on my Win7 64 desktop, but my Win7 32 laptop runs fine. I thought it was a hardware problem at first, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I find myself having to tap an express key (the pan/scroll key) or the spacebar several times to get it to cease. Dunno what the deal is really other than it my be an issue with the drivers being tailored more towards the functional relationship between Intuos 4 hardware and Win7 than them worrying so much about the Intuos 3. Also, I only notice it when using Painter as all my express keys are mapped for Painter functions, but since the error I've went back to tethering my pinky to the Ctrl key, feels natural to me that way anyway :)
