Samurai

[The Brett]

This is a painting I did as a concept for a 3D animation I'm currently working on.

Underneath it is the model so far, and underneath that is an early render of what the style should look like when it's done.

Still working on fine-tuning everything, should have a sample scene done in the next month or so.

Let me know what you think, or if you have any suggestions I'd be more than happy to hear them.

The modelled figure seems to have changed proportions from the drawing. In the drawing the figure is a much larger 'taller' man.

The model appears to have a very large head and shorter arms. The proportions look wrong - too stumpy. This doesn't make him look very intimidating either.

Like the unusual sword - reminds me of Samurai Jack though.
