Expeirement with conte chalk stuff

Colored version drawn with conte crayons (i think thats what they're called) admire and then tear it apart with criticism.

I think that the conte crayons look best on a drawing when you use just blacks, or just reds. The crayons arn't really mean't to "color" (unless if your using the pastel versions). Their your crayons so you can use them however you like.

Proportions are okay. The anatomy is off a bit. I think the main thing thats holding you back is anatomy. Plus, you lack details.

Thanks for replying. How big would I have to draw to show good detail with this medium?

Pretty good sense of form and such, but since the armor IS metallic, you might want to refine some of the lines of shading.. make them more solid and smooth.

And don't mind die with honor, to be honest I don't believe I have seen him post a comment more than one line, or one with actual constructive critisism. (Not a personal attack, just an observation)
