Yeah, I'm doing her again, but now on a tablet.
If I succeed, this will become a 150DPI A2 poster.

Argh, I can't seem to make her smile look right.
OK, the whole pic is comic-booky, but her smile looks like something done by Jim Balent by now (argh).

Comments, crits, paintovers... I'd love any of them.

That's great!
I'd love to see her when you're done. Good job.

w00t x-men :D to comment on the smile: i think maybe a more smirkish expression would work- a little less gleeful maybe? and it would go along with her eyes. Although this wide smile is how i remember rogue in most posters, pics etc. nice work!

haiku: Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Burn Things: Hehe I used to love the X-Men a few years ago, when Chris Claremont was writing it and Marc Silvestri and then Jim Lee drew them. Now they seem too... weird. *shrugs*
Someone pointed me out that Rogue used to be a sexy chick with all those problems of her not being able to touch anyone adding to the charm of the character and augmenting [?] this trait of hers. But this is for a girl, so I can't make her looking that sexy. hehe (well, yeah, I could, but nah)
I'll try doing the smirkish exp, it'll give her more charm for sure. :)

Next step: Blocking out the colors!

The smile looks fine, if anything, her eye needs a little work.

yes, i agree, maybe the eye should be more open, less squint like. It looks awesome though, great job :)
