Please feel free to critique these images. I am trying to improve the sense of form and depth in my illustrations as well as my use of color.

lookin good dude. good gestures and facial expression. My favorite is probably the minotaur thumbnail, it looks solid from the depth lines and perspecitve. finding the wire-frame lines has helped me alot and i'd suggest doing more.
And don't be afraid to shade like hell too. Dig in until you rip the paper.
That face with the cut outs is great too.
nice work

Oh sweet! Scott's in the sketchbooks!
Those markers are workin' out great for your Dante's stuff. And that life study of Darel is great man. And the creature anatomy is fuckin' awesome, I think you should do more of those.
It's hard to get a hold of sketchin' in Painter (that's why you should come digital sketch with me on friday!! :bash: )
but it helps to put some paper on the tablet, so you get the friction, helps to ease into it.
You should post the stuff you're doin' in Bob's class. I think the way you're goin' you'll have the hang of markers in no time.
I'm gonna bring some CANSON paper on Sunday, and give some out if you'd like to sketch with me, I'd like to go over how to lay down markers with it and the basics for anyone on your list that's interested.

steak-tron: Thanks for the input man! I find I lose all sens of form unless I trace a wireframe over the shapes. I learned more about form in speace from my product rendering class than any lifedrawnig class! Imagine that!
Sammy: Thanks man! I hear your interview went well! Congrats man!!!
I want to come to sketch group I really do but I have been under a sketchbook deadline with classical renderingand therefore I had to go to open model instead. I will come out this friday tho I PROMISE : D
I will DEFINITELY sketch with you on Sunday I am curious about Marker on Canson.
Oh yeah tell Dylan to stop erasing your work from afar ; P

!!!GREEBLES!!!
Hell yea dude, you've nailed the markers! The contrast on that armored transport is amazing!
I can see you're able to get into it now, lose yourself in the rendering and come out with sompin' bad ass.

Anatomical study of the arm. The one on the left is charcoal the other is 6B graphite heightened with white.

An excersize in trying to get warm/cool contrast and fleshtones in marker.
Perspective issues here but I like the surface and I will revisit the idea in the near future.
