First Photoshop (nightmare concept)

This was an idea that attacked my imagination as soon as a friend of mine was describing a recurring nightmare to me. This is a basic sketch of the guy from her dream, but I intend to continue to illustrate things from her nightmare. It was very vivid and creepy. It really got the juices flowin.

Oh, this was also my first semi-serious, semi-successful photoshop painting. If you have crits, please share them.

Hey, that's an awesome idea! illustrating nightmares would be a great thread! I look forward to seeing more of this...that guy looks like some kinda pissed off Butcher... wouldn't want him in my dreams!

By the way I don't think there's anything Semi Successful about this piece..This piece is successful... Great job with the drawing... the gentleman's right hand is a little too blocky, I couldn't tell it was his hand at first. But I like the guy's expression... NIce colors as well. The mood is very dreary. Kudos man... great job!

yeah great mood man! I love the simple yet scary backdrop. that hole behind him is creepy. hes been up to no good.

you could make the hair on his tummy a bit more gross though.. it almost looks combed:)

wow man this is really good. something about the pants that i think could use a bit more detail like front pockets and belt loops.
