Hey all,im not exacly new to ConceptArt,but this is my 1st sketchbook im gonna show in the forums.
Because im not exacly a "concept artist" but someone who strongly desires to get a job as one,i do not have any concept art, apart from one(which is for one of my characters).
So im gonna upload all of my best stuff i have created over a time period of 3 years. They of various genres, others are figure drawings and other landscapes.
Most i have drawn from other images, using them as references or purely copying them to hone my detail skills.Others i have drawn from nature on my walks in town or trips around my island.
But recently i draw from imagination, and those i will note underneath each piece.

I hope in ure eyes they are good enough, and please whoever wishes give a critique :) that way i shall know my weakness's and improve them.

ive got loads more drawings to show yall but their size is much bigger than is allowed here so i guess those will have to be lowered to below 700KB.
Shame cos most of my new and god stuff is around 1+MB...

Hello mate :)
I am glad you started a sketchbook here on CA.Now you can start your journey in the world of concept art.
Your works are showing a lot of skills and specially i like the last character.Really great.
Just work in high resolution and make them smaller .
You can start working in your anatomy, because its a basic thing in the training. And if you see others sketchbooks you will see that all of them do anatomy studies.

check some loomis anatomy online

in there you can see everypage of each book online

Keep up mate!!!

Nice sketches buddy! I would like to see them on digital form with pen tablet though, i am sure you will extend your capabilities there!
I found very interesting mecha-warrior cause it has a nice perspective and his form is kinda clean (at least for pen/pencil), i mean despite black/white i can feel his armor is made of steel.
You could try correct though his dark parts. When you want to draw shadows, just imagine from where there is/are source(s) of light and draw the shadow away from there, behind the light.

Great work, I like the guitarist on the top and sort of terminator looking guy. A really good looking pose there. Merry C to you!
