Thanks Naram Sinha, I appreciate the kind words. These are a part of my ongoing series of the Prime Ministers of Canada, as well as my continuous attempts to be Hirschfeld-esque. In order: John A. Macdonald, Alexander Mackenzie, John Abbott, John Thompson, Mackenzie Bowell, Charles Tupper, Wilfrid Laurier, Robert Borden, Arthur Meighen. Some are more successful than others.

Thank you guys, sometime soon I'm going to have to practice a more painterly (less line based) kind of work. In the meantime, a rather dreadful page of faces.

Would love to see more of your painting studies (like in the pic above), there are some really nice things going on in that one. ;)

Thanks DarcyNeve, I love how sculptural and chunky the markers are to work with. Here's another Canadian Prime Minister, William Lyon Mackenzie King, and a WIP of a digital painting I'm working on.

"The worst joke God can play is to make you an artist, but only a mediocre artist." -David Bowie
LOL
and I see you went for a little randis-esque advertising on your thread... I see where you're going with this...

Anybody who starts a thread with and initial illustration like your deserves respect!
Nice work in your SB.
In your paintings, I think you should focus a bit more on correct edges. They are a bit to rough everywhere for my liking, and distract a bit to much.
Cheers!

Apologies for the radio silence this past week, things are starting to catch up with me.
Junpei: I can't say that I've ever heard of randis, but I'm glad you appreciate the Bowie quote.
DavidSmit: Thanks for the input. I have an unfortunate habit of not finishing any projects to a polished level, I shall make an extra effort to finish the Jellicoe painting proper.
In the meantime, more sketches.

I like your series of Prime Ministers. I've never thought of that before... it's kind of refreshing to see my own country's leaders instead of someone else's haha.
Awesome work, keep it up. I'll be watchin'.
