Quick Photoshop piece. Mayhaps my own take on "Judith and Holofernes", only without the full-on, head-in-hand decapitation!

I've always wanted to date a girl with a hand that's larger than her entire head... :p
No but seriously, beautifully rendered, but the dead guy seems a bit too grey.

lookin good,
I think it might look a bit better if you had the creature's eye rolling more into the back of his head. The knife blade seems a bit short comapred to the handle as well. Just my 2 cents.

"i wanna go wild
like a blister in the sun
i wanna go wild
big hands, i know you're the one!"
i dunno about the blotchy wall but great line art and colouring other than that

That is really quite badass. Her hand is a bit big though, and her little aura around her just screams photoshop :/

Love the linework. The hand doesn't bother me personally.
But the background kills the piece. The wall is the same corner as the floor - the floor comes closer to the foreground than the wall, but they're the same colour. Plus the same texture (but they're not drawn the same).
Plus you have all this good cross hatching on the wall, which creates a very dark feel , but fades into a quite brightly coloured wall.
The lighter background around the girl, doesn't match with the indicated shading of the wall.
Redo the wall, create more blend from dark to (slightly) lighter.
The linework is great - the colouring is weakening the piece.

OK, here's an update:
Better? Worse? Same?

A friend of mine suggested a great title for this piece too: "Jerk."

much better, but the arms are still kind wierd. If you notice, your elbows come down to the bottom of your rib cage. So, arms need to be shortend.

Hey - this is pretty different for you...reminds me somehow of a poster for the theatre - not sure why....
I like the brickwork ...the girls posture is great...the pants around his legs are also a great touch, if a bit nasty...
I wonder if a vertical position to the dagger would allow you the space to make a longer, more imposing knife?
nice to see you doing some different stuff!

Oh - and what about showing her hem? the skirt going off the bottom has a flatt-ening feeling...if you lengthened the image a tad, you could show the floor, just by the indication of the fabric pooling...
but that's just a thought....

I am really liking this!
There are some weird things going on with her arms and hands, but I like it in a strange kinda of way. Her hands are huge! yet it adds to it... I'm suprised she used a knife to cut his throat and didn't just strangle him with those things. :p
Her breasts are huge, each one looks to be the size of her head, but for some reason I really didn't notice it until closer inspection. And even with their size its not coming across as odd looking.
...and upon that closer inspection I noticed some insuation I didn't notice at first glance either... I don't know wether to cringe or jump up and down shouting "you go girl!" (I mean the creature is some big evil mean thing right?) *edit* then again maybe she's the evil one...
Overall I like it quite a bit, the exaggerations lend to the feel of it, it tells a story and simply done. I am fond of your style here.

Huge improvement on the background.
Your inking and cross hatching is great. I hate cross hatching, but yours is good.

not sure if anyone but me seemed to gather this from the image but umm...
i think the monster was keeping her captive and made her perform "sexual acts" unwillingly until she finally killed him.
....ya know since his pants are at his ankles..... and the title "she has her revenge"
am i right?

Yeah, haha.
I was gonna ask why his pants were down...
Guess its self explanatory..... She also looks really disgusted, like she was made do something really gross.

sean- I like your new inkier style! it seems to carry a little more of your personal style into the images.
for those of you wrestling with the story, google "judith and holofernes" with caravaggio or klimt.

The story has particular bite with the artist Artemesia Genteleschi (sp?) - her versions are quite ghoulish...
