Looking for some reading material on light

Hello!

After reading this (http://www.itchy-animation.co.uk/light.htm) magnificent overview about light - i was wondering if anyone knows more reading material thats available on the web(?)
You know, a kind of an article that explains the "core-shadow/terminator" concerning spheres, ambient light, reflected light, how shadows and highlights may interact in certain situations etc.
I couldn't find anything worth reading in google so far...
