Hi folks!
My name is Marco,I'm a 22 Italian Pin Up Artist.two years ago I've discovered the amazing world of digital illustration,and now I'm trying to improve this technique...I must admit I'm a wacom and photoshop addicted.:lifedrawing:
I love to portrait the female form and my Pin Up are inspired by the great master of the classical pin up art like Elvgren (I've realize some tribute for him),Vargas and Petty.
I'm not a great master of color theory but since yesterday I've start to study a lot of interesting threads I've fond here...so I'm sure this amazing forum will help me a lot in the realization of my artwork!:yayca:

I think that probably the main feature of a vintage Pin Up is try to show a woman in a really embarassing situation,with a funny face,as you can see in the 90% of the Elvgren's painting.
As you can see in the artworks of the great Pin Up Artist like Elvgren,Petty or Vargas,rarely you'll see a complete nude.:lifedrawing:
I think it's so hard realize an erotic painting without fall in the porn,probably the key is in the pose of the model,not too explicit,but so sexy.:geekg:
