I recently upgraded to CS4 and have a (used) epson photo 2200 printer. My prints (photographs and artwork) are coming out extremely yellow/green and I do not know how to rectify this problem. I have my monitor set to Adobe RGB 1998, Photoshop viewing profile set to RGB 1998, and in the print settings I set the profile to the same. I was told this was the way to get accurate prints to match the screen. I have tried various profiles to achieve accurate printing and nothing has worked, but honestly technical stuff like this is not my forte and I'm more on the clueless end of things. If someone knows what I am doing wrong, or what could be the problem, please let me know. I'm ready to pull my hair out!
Thanks,
Gabby

Actually, to be quite honest (and some people will disagree with me I'm sure), if you don't have access to the highest tier of colorimeters and color calibration software, my experience has been that the best results are achieved by using the mid-tier Spyder colorimeter to calibrate my display, and then doing NOTHING to the default Photoshop settings, and telling the print driver to not attempt any color correction at all.
If that doesn't work then you may have to fiddle with some stuff, but I've never had to. I've done this on different computers, different printers, different monitors, and my experience has been the same. Calibrate the monitor using a Spyder, and then do nothing.

what OS are you using? I'm using an apple iMac and set my monitor to the iMac default (well, with a little gamma correction) photoshop to adobe RGB 1998 and always check with my euroscale CYMK profile.. Never got any problems.
Maybe your printer is missing ink or the printer driver messed it up?
Can't think of anything else at the moment, sorry
