I found this to be humorous, not in a harsh way:

dont play in the dark or when tired now :)!

I used to be addicted to MMORPG's like Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot and Anarchy Online (hence AnarchyAO, AO= Anarchy Online :P). And when I'd play for like 12 hours at a time, I'd be so freaking tired that my eyes would start to shake. And sometimes random, loud, noises would go off in my head. Like, car crashes, and gunshots. That shit freaks you out.

But, its not like you go into a full body shaking seizure. The lack of thinking, and looking at all the colorful effects on the screen really gets to you eyes and mind after a while. Some people have their arms twitch and stuff. its nothing major or anything to be afraid of. Its just your body saying that you have no life and get off the damn computer.

After playing games for a long time... my eyes and fingers start to twitch uncontrollably.

Its quite humorous at first... but then it just starts to piss me off. Of course... I havn't done that in a long time.

I agree whole-heartedly with the warning and I think it's good for them to take responsability. Microsoft's games do cause seizures. So do their office software and opperating systems.

...I have a form of epilepsy called 'juvenile myoclonic epilepsy' (don't know why it's called that), but thankfully strobe lights in video games/TV shows don't trigger my seizures. Yaaay, I can still play video games! :D I've only had one seizure so far, and it was the scary-crappy one where you jerk around and your eyes roll in the back of your head and you foam at the mouth. (called a 'grand mal seizure') AND at the time I was a cabin counselor for a bunch of kids, and it was in the middle of the night. How humiliating!

This thread may be long forgotten, but I`m bored.

I believe staring at a crowded street all day would get you seizures too.

The first time I ever played Descent I played it for like 4 hours and then fell down the stairs.
