Painted for a themed Thread on another (germanspeaking) DiscussionBoard.

Shows an Ogerhunter with his maggot fellas (which are his bloodhounds.)

I like where you are going with this piece, but I think it could use a bit more work, especially around the head/face.

I think the head should be the focal point, so you might want to really punch up the details and the contrast there.

Nice concept though, and very creepy painting style. Reminds me of some of Craig Mullin's wrok.

hey magira, nice piece!
i definetly don't wanna meet this guy at night... and at any other time, too ;)

my only crit is, that he's looking in the opposite direction the light is coming from. most interesting parts of him are in shadow. oh, and the overall brightness of it _might_ be too low, had to increase brightness and contrast of it to see everything... or maybe this is just my screen or you wanted it this way :)

Muttonhead - yeah, youre absolutely right, I concentrated on the maggots so much, i forgot that there are other parts in the painting that should be painted with more attention.

Janni- I thought hiding his eyes, would add some.... don't know =)

I painted a little over the straps of the maggot at the bottom right so it conforms a little better to its body. Its nothing much, I like it in its loose strokes and it looks awesome already, nice!
