Hey guys! I have been going to college online for about a year and a half now and don't feel I am getting what I am paying for. I am looking at ateliers rather than full blown art schools. I would wait for the ca.org school to open its doors but with no word on when that will be I will have to just keep moving forward. I have looked at Gnomon's 2D entertainment design track which seems very appealing. I talked to the admission folks and they looked at my work and said I would be accepted (it's a art foundation program). The only thing is I don't know if I can afford to live in LA. I also found the Gemini School of Visual Arts in Texas. I utimately want to end up in Texas but I don't know much about this school aside from what is stated on their website. Does anyone know anything about it? Or has anyone attended any workshops there? If so, was is worth it?
