Hey guys,
Just wanted to share this awesome program I found online :teeth:
It's called ToneMatrix and is a "simple sinewave synthesizer triggered by an ordinary 16step sequencer."
You basically make really neat tunes from selecting cubes within said grid.
Well, it's hard to explain. Go here to see for yourself! (http://lab.andre-michelle.com/tonematrix)
You can share your tunes with others by simply right-clicking on the grid and thus copying your sequence.
To start, here's one I came up with by fiddling around:
74,36,74,8704,23952,8704,24,32800,83120,35656,3396 8,83232,35408,33826,83008,32778
Just copy the entire thing and right-click the grid again to paste it and play. Simple!
Or post a screenshot if you happen to stumble upon a visually pleasing tune ;)
Go nuts and then share your creations!

A coworker had something almost exactly like this on his Iphone. It actually made me really want an Iphone :P
I really like these kinds of things, but it would be cool if there were some way to add additional modulation. Like have different size dots controlling filter frequency and resonance. Or perhaps even animated dots that swell and contract based on a LFO and have those controlling filter freq. or a mix between two different oscillators.

I remember someone posting a link in the cheer me up thread and I was bummed because I couldn't find it again.
I like how it doesn't take much effort to create something pretty listenable

I just gave it a spin...Wow that's a lot of fun. Don't make the mistake of right clicking on something though, it was several minutes before I was able to regain control of anything :P You do kind of need some knowledge in how to set up audio devices though. It took me a minute to figure out how to program my own patterns into the 303 style synth too. Pretty amazing that can be done within a browser.

OH EM GEE YOU GAIZ I found a better one. It lets you mess with tempo and speaker panning and lets you use multiple instruments at once. Including drums. Aaaand you can copy and paste from the other one.
