Like the style and image so far.
My biggest concern is with the focus point. Is this going to be coloured? I can see that you'll have to make the lighting very odvious to ensure that the female is the central focus and not the DJ.
I would like to see this finished - Keep going.

thx for your comment :)
actually, it's not really supposed to be focused on the girl, I just gave quickly this name to the pic, but the focus will be on both characters :)
and i'm planning to color it too..
here's an update :) still busy with the lineart..

hmm.. feeling a bit stuck :/
finished masking color layers, and now i'm trying to color this stuff, but dunno where to start, what colors I should use, what kind of rendering I want to achieve.. I'm experimenting for the moment..
Any idea/recommendation/comment or whatever is welcome :)

You might want to look around at some contemporary illustrators for ideas on this one. Personally, I could see this piece working really well with a Chris Buzelli, or Aaron Meshon sort of color scheme. You can find their websites from google. Be sure to post the finish for us.
looking good,

Hmm. Took a look at their artwork, but the colors seem a bit too bright for the clubby atmosphere.. but thx for the suggestion :)
I seriously gotta do something with all the layers.. I have lots of, and I can't prevent myself from creating new ones :)
Ok I'm far from being a coloring guru, but anyway, here she is :)

I love how she looks! Awesome colors and 3d look :) The only thing that seems a bit off to me on the coloring, is the strand covering her forehead on the left side of her face.. it just seems like its colored wrong.. I'm not sure :( I'm probably just delusional.
Keep up the good work! I want to see more :)

this probably comes a little late, but if you were still considering moving things around, you might want to consider moving the spotlight in the bottom left of the picture. the outside line of the big speaker comes right down into the center of the spotlight. as a rule of thumb i've always been taught to never put lines together .... ach i cant articulate what i mean, but basically, if i dont look at the speaker, it looks like a line is coming up, out of the light.
...but then considering your rendering skills, all this probably doesnt apply. sigh. coz your objects are so damn clean and 3d, that no ones will have a prob identify what each object is.

Maybe it's also disturbing because this line doesn't continue under the spotlight..? :) but this is fixed ;)
Anyway, I see what you mean, I'll probably move the spotlight if it still looks weird after coloring it :)
Thanks for your comments :D
