Requirements???

i was actually wondering about this for a while and thought id ask. im a high school student and i was wondering if there are high school requirements to get into an art school like grades , extracurricular activities etc. if there are can you please tell me. im a little spooked that i should be doing something like this.

Well...normally you want grades....but I don't think the others matter that much (they don't hurt).

IMO it is better to spend your time drawing and getting better. Some art schools require a pretty decent portfolio (and offer scholarships to those with great ones).

In the art world it seems that art does all the speaking... it's all about being able to produce (not how many hours you spent walking homeless peoples dogs).

It all depends on the school. Some want grades, some don't. Some want the one kind of portfolio stuff, some the other.

But, more important; do you love drawing and painting?
