really nice stuff all around...the first two look very Joe Mad influenced, and i think i see some Aeon Flux influences in there...again really good stuff...keep experimenting with different styles...it will only make your work stronger. fun stuff.

Nice style. Detailed yet... not realistic. Perfect perspective, great anatomy... if you don't get a job soon, I'll be amazed.

Yur just 'getting into school' - fer cris' sakes...your stuff it too good - so I assume you mean some kind of Bachelor of Art program or something. You better not mean high-school you talented punk.

Why not just go get work? You don't need any more skills to get work in games...(Now, I don't usually say that - don't take that as generic advice - stay in school and don't do drugs kids!)

i'm all smiles heh :D thanks everyone again!

Romulus: heh well as soon as i slap some colours on em, we wont have to worry bout the shadin ;)

marc_taro: indeed you are correct! i gradded highschool last year and goofed around fer a year (stupid me). i'm goin for a degree in illustration at ACAD. i was doing stuff for a student run game project, but i've dropped it lately.. i've still got a lot of things i'd like to experiment with before i test the waters of the gaming industry and feel confident bout it, but thanks fer the comment tho, its seriously encouraging :)

ACAD in Calgary? Wack. I went there. Did you know there's a game company in Edmontond doing a chinese themed RPG?

Well, (re - was ACAD worth it) - There were three or four good illustrators in my year who subsequently went on to get jobs in games. (Most of them are art directors now at sucessful companies now in various cities)...

Most of the people who want design/advertizing type work got it - so sad for them! - (I kid because I love)....

Every year we ((Bioware) where I worked back then)) hired one or two more ACAD people...

So I can say that the program has worked for quite a few people.

If you're the kind of guy that works your ass off on you own motivation, I'd say you dont *neeeeeed* it...but if you're human and normal, it's a great opportunity to kind of level up in peace and quiet for a few years before you have to get a job and do the real schiznit...

That chinese game is called Jade Empire and the studio is Bioware Corp in Edmonton btw...check out www.bioware.com for more info...
