View Full Version : CA Image Uploader...

I find the CA up-loader to be very convenient in many respects, however, a glaring exception to this is the copyright info, and categorization of updates...
Are there readily available means of circumventing this...?
I find it rather irksome...
And it's not to suggest that i'm unappreciative of the effort...
Any information, suggestions, very much appreciated :)...
Thank you...

the tags make it possible for the search function to work properly i guess..its great when it comes to artwork as its also proving you're the author in case someone thinks its cool to use your stuff for free.
the problem for me comes in threads like the cheer me up or others that deal with random pictures and reference.
it would be cool if we could upload multiple files and set the tags for the lot rather than having to do it for each and every one..tends to take quite a bit if you're uploading a batch of 10/20 images.

This might be a very nice future feature for gallery search and image browsing.
Not having it now still will help big time later having all older images tagged properly.

What i find strange is the necessity to upload the image again when showing it on more than one thread.... If you search for my username you will see a lot of images twice, since it went on my sketchbook and on a mentoring thread... I bet repeated images takes a lot of space on the servers...

After uploading the image one time you can copy the url with right click and use the image tag [IMG] to repost it in another thread.

Amazingly useful tip Randis! I've been uploading twice, sometimes even more time more than I can imagine!

I can't wait for the day when we can multi-upload. I think I post a lot less work in my sketchbook because I just don't feel like typing so much.

deviantART (don't kill me, it's actually an alright place) has the option to select catagories/subcatagories that you commonly select, so as soon as you opload you can pick an option that says "Cartoons & Comics->Digital Media" etc etc... depending on where the majority of your previous submissions are.
Maybe that could be an alternative? All you'd need to do then is fill in the keywords and upload your image.
