I once saw a piece that looks like this. Unfortunately, I DON'T have the piece, nor the name of the artist. But I tried to draw a quick sketch of what it looked like.

I'm 80% sure I found this person through conceptart, though I may be wrong.

Anyway, the piece was digitally painted. It was on the beach, and in the middle, was a giant rock, or mish mash or rocks and the perspective was just GORGEOUS, and it really made you feel like you were standing there.

Does anyone recognize this piece?

First i have this one (http://www.sim-r.com/displayimage.php?album=13&pos=5). The artist is Simon Rodgers.

Then, more likely, there's this one (http://www.nivbed.com/siteimages/lostwatch.jpg), although you didnt really mention a character or anything on the rock. It's by Justin Cherry.

that's not a rock, those are arched walls of a ruined building. :P
