Great stuff ! That portrait is just awsome. Like the watercolor/pen stuff too.

i really like the second one, the reproduction by digital camera makes it look almost voyueristic, all the greens come out washy and grainy, I like it!

These are awesome! I love your water colors, my favorite parts are the hand arm studies, and the one showing the side of the stone house... I love it!
Awesome stuff man... where did you learn how to do watercolors? School? Books? I'm going to try to start to learn them too, never tried them before... any advice would be awesome too!

i took one watercolor class at the junior college, which didnt teach me much at all, but i did get experience out of it.. ive read 2 books on watercolor:
Painting People in Watercolor: A Design Approach - Alex Powers
Basic People Painting Techniques in Watercolor - Rachel Rubin Wolf
plus a lot of articles on watercolor... Best thing you can do with watercolor is practice and play with it.. it demands a ton of control

im still waiting for my wacom.. don't know what ill do with it when i get however....

no it was actually a really deformed hand... jk
as of now im not doing anything except mooching off my parents, but i hope to be a pro illustrator once i graduate..
