very nice color selection!
I looked at the finish piece and I dont see a solid story behind it. Perhaps all you wanted was a well done figure holding a severed head. I personally would like to see a background behind him. I would also like to see his feet, I am big on figure pieces being all the way down to the toes.
The shading and keeping it in the warm hues is very inviting though. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback Crave. I decided to make the bottom of the legs as you suggested. I also removed all fancy layers like color burn and so and cleaned it up a bit.
Dunno about the background tho. It's some kind of fantasy pirate (I have a nasty pirate fetish you see), maybe i could make him stand on the deck of a ship with a cannon or some barrels on it or something.
I'm open for suggestions :)

Oh, and I tried to delete the final image thread but the forum wouldnt let me, so if any mods pop by please end it for me.
