This was something else, but then someone pointed out its similarity to the sand monster in Legend of Zelda games. So that's what it is now. :)

This is a paintover of something I did a year ago. The original was completely unplanned, and I didn't think to do any appendages. I kept the structure as it was since adding anything substantial would have involved redoing it.

edit: Some of the stickies here are amazing. If this were a for-pay site and I weren't desperately broke, I wouldn't even give it a second thought.

I lost interest in painting when I realized I would need to learn a lot of things that I found extremely boring to get anywhere with it.
