Figured I would put up a couple more pieces. This is a concept for an animation I am working on called "Meat Circus." This is graphite on board an is essentially the grisalle for an oil painting (when I get the chance : )

I got a Wacom for christmas and I tried to tinker with painting over the piece digitally.

I wanted to give the skin a translucent dead look and see if I could get come veining in there. Painting with a wacom is weird, it is like doing a blind contour drawing three feet from your sketchbook! : P
It will take some getting used to.

the painting is pretty good too. Nicely done for being one of your first digital paintings. :)

I.was.ink,

Thank you for he kind words on my post. I am digging the Wacom for the sake of speed and cleanliness. It also helps me free up and try some things I wouldnt want to experiement with on an original drawing. Now I just need to find a good book on painter. From what I have seen the pickings are prettry slim.

Both drawing and painting look great. I'd love to see more. :D

Looks pretty good to me! Quality drawing... my only small crit would be the way the lips attach to the red muscle kinda tissue. They look a bit like they're just floating there. I think it's the seperation in colour between the red and the white(ish). Maybe blend them a touch more?
