This first one is my most recent, the order is funky. This is a girl in my class paying close attention to what the teacher has to say while i took a minute to capture her soul. The other is a heartlike creation from my head with eyeballs and tenticles.

This is the start order now. This was when i started doing the figure studies, my design teacher teaching and a skull i got into while i was bored.

you have some good stuff here. you seem to have a good sense of value and somewhat sense of line weight, but you need to practice from some references too.

Thanks, unfortunately i missed the one day that we had a female model in the class :/ but regardless, i've been going out and drawing everyone and everything i see. Are there any tips you could give me on drawing people in public, i tell them im stealing their should and some people get offended by it. Others just don't know how to react. I try to get the job done quick, but at the same time, i have to make sure i'm doing something right. I know the skulls are a little off, i do have to do some more referencing for them, i just like to play with the general shape of the thing. Otherwise im trying to fill up as many sketchbooks i can for the rest of my life, and work from every idea i can get down on paper. Ive never felt this way about drawing before.

Also on another note, does anyone here know what its like to just leave and travel throughout the world? Sounds very random but once im finished with school, i plan on visiting different cultures, and exploring as much as i possibly can. If anyone has done this, or something like it, im trying to come up with some way to make money along the way, because id like to travel honstly for at least a year maybe more, and without being able to stay in one place, it would be hard to find a decent job. I was thinking about somekind of commissionary work, but thats fairly open and not very secure idea. Unless i know more about how to sell myself to people who dont understand what im even saying, at least at the start.

Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks cannibal fr taking the time to look at my stuff.

These 2 are from last night. The first was after i started drawing the people i was hanging out with, and before we went to dennys i drew up my friend for a portrait. The Next is my hand holding the sketchbook im drawing into.

P.s. How do i change the main Picture that shows up next to the thread title?

I havent been on the site in a few months, and even though I may not get many responses, I still like to share my work. So far I have tried to take the advice you guys give me into consideration, and have been working hard at my style, and trying to finish up whatever i can before my A D D kicks in, and I become bored with what I am drawing. So with that in mind, I feel the need to post what i have been working on. I havent done much with poses really, so i was practicing that alot, and trying to become more intuitive about what im putting down on the paper. Some things may make sense, others may not, im trying to buckle down on it. A few of the things i put up here before had no rhyme or reason. So without any further adieu, here are the most recent sketch ups i have for you!

As always, i look forward to CnC on anything you C.

Hey dude, Your stuff is cool, but you would benefit a lot from drawing from life and doing some perspective and anatomy studies, so that your charaters can have something extra. Other that keep it up

If you don't know: Still life means drawing thing that are around you (ex. People, toys, anything around you)

The old man here I drew while he was sitting at barnes and noble. I draw people wherever I go. Bur I'm focused on bending the realities of what I see. What looks like a flower there, is also part of a sculpture in my backyard. What do you mean by more to them? The backgrounds? Individuality of the faces? I do have trouble drawing women though. Does anyone know of a place where I could find a good tutorial. Also I'm working on this to try and get a tattoo apprenticeship, do you or anyone have any tips on how or what I should focus my portfolio on? Thanks a lot.

Also, I want to make more dynamic environments. What can I do to create something like that, I feel like there's not enough room on the page.

Not sure where you could find a good tut, but I am sure if you look around hard enough you can find some info on it. If you do enough Enviroment then they become 2nd nature and you know how they work so then you can use that knowledge to do them from imagination and create dynamic enviroments. I mean just making them closer to what the person looks like, because the more you studie from life the better you drawing become and the more you are able to pull that off in your drawings. YOu can never do enough still lifes if you think you've done enough do 100 more! thats the way to learn
