Regards all,

I am new to the list and I figured I would post a couple works. This is a sculpey zombie bust. He is on a carved plaster base. I took a sillicone mold off this and plan to sell busts in the near future.

This is a lifesize 1:1 scale demon bust (scale to a lifesize human head at least). He is oil clay with glass eyes and very much a work in progress. I am still refining form at this stage.

I hope you like these. Check out www.scottspencer.com for some illustrations ans such. New site so I am still uploading work.

I found some better shots of the sculpt I took under better lighting conditions. Figured I would throw them up here.

Thanks for the kind words poly_cube & juicy fruit : )

The color tempature change is because the first shot was indorrs under photoflood bulbs and the second was shot digitally outside. The base is off the second batch because I took them before I added the base for stability.

I think I agree the base overpowers the sculpt, It may look beter painted with gray primer.

Jon: Thank you, it is truly encouraging to get positive feedback from an artist who's work I admire. The demon bust is on the back burner this week because I am doing concept designs for a group project at school. I am sculpting a three headed skinned dog maquette for an animated Dante's Inferno. I hope to get back to the demon in the next couple weeks. I will post pics as soon as I can.

With a full classload and a part time job it is hard to get these personal projects in edgewise. I always say I cant wait to graduate art school so I can have time to do some art.

PS Scrubbin Bubbles: Sorry man, dont know him.

Really I did make out with a girl, once...

Oh yeah the teeth on the zombie are all the same, no canines or molars. Sorry if its picky, but I think canines look cool.

Thanks enigma and AnarchyAo2!

Yeah I got hjooked on glass eyes. I buy them from taxidermy shops in all different sized from human to smaller and larger. They really help bring a sculpt to life.
