dunno what to crit mate, i just want to say that i love the characters and they all have strong emotions, mood and motion.
Dunno maybe trying doing some polish rendering of some of them, just to present them in another way.
I mean , this last is very good but maybe try making a digital painting with just the character and even without background :P

haha just keep up mate :)

(wow damn i havent seen these posts.Damn great. The pixel work is very good, and i think you should finish the one with the harp.Really great.)

I remember your work was one of the last things i saw just before I dropped out of void for the second time, I would like to go back again sometime to bruise some asses, hmm..

Your work is very stylized which is awesome, though it seems you use it to hide anatomy flaws sometimes, mainly on your male characters. I would really like to see some in depth muscular studies from George Bridgman if you haven't done so already.

Maybe try working on your style variation as well, more realism would be awesome.

Anyway, badass work, keep it up!

thanks guys, and yeh, i tend to get into anatomical and stylistic ruts, it drives me insane, but when i draw anatomy and fail miserably, i feel awful :C i wish there was a way i could embrace new learning. something about drawing from reference really makes me very paranoid and stiff, so i screw up and get put off it.:davi:

heres some more stuff, enjoy

This is my first void battle, I lost :D by only a few points mind you, seems the audience enjoyed rape more than genital mutilation. WHEW, but i learned alot through drawing this comic, i'd left it to LITERALLY the last minute. we were given 4 weeks to complete this, i slacked off the first three weeks and almost killed myself doing this comic within just 3 days, im proud and also ashamed of this XD

Hey GemGem! Your stuff has become quite interesting over the years. Great progression overall! :D

For your anatomy problems: It's a bit hard to give some advice to so few sketches. The thing is anatomy practise is not done with a few scribbles. You need to do a buttload more studies. At the moment I can just advice you to read a good book (Loomis or something) and do sketching/practises at the same time. It helped me a lot because one of the important things is also understanding.
The other one is observation. I don't know if you used references for your sketches, but if you did you definitely need to work on your observation skills. For example: the male full body figure has way too long arms or the butt/upper leg of the headless body at the bottom is a bit deformed. If they're from head, the sketches are ok - but you'd still need to work on your drawing-from-mind skills.

Sorry, that I can't be more helpful atm. I'll keep you on my radar and see if I can come up with some more useful critiques in the future.

(well fart, I was beaten to the punch, here's my message anyway.)

Hey, updates are looking good! 3 days for a comic with that quality, I'm impressed, I couldn't produce something that nice in a 5 week deadline, hah! Its awesome to see you working on expanding your artistic horizons already, not a bad start at all. And lucky you, you're on CA now, help will be plentiful!

Your last post is not bad, but like you said there are problems, mainly with body/limb proportion, and on the head shot, his skull seems a little smooshed, though the main problem is with the neck, it's pinching too much near the body. Now most of this can be taken care of with more observational/ life drawing, but I've got something else for you.

Let me start you out with this link http://processjunkie.blogspot.com/2007/09/best-figure-drawing-books-ever.html

This is where I first came across Andrew Loomis and George Bridgman books , If you haven't heard or seen these already, they will replace your Bible, Qur'an, and Torah all together! These books have some of the most valuable information I've come across and if you look around the forums here most people will agree. Start out easy with Andrew Loomis (try fun with a pencil first) and once your comfortable with what you've learned jump straight into George Bridgman (constructive anatomy). If you go through these and take whats being taught to heart, you'll be amazed at what you produce afterwards.

Also! http://posemaniacs.com/?pagename=thirtysecond - Posemaniacs, if you don't have access to a life drawing class I suggest you get into a good habit of doing a set number of timed gesture drawings a day. Even after a week you'll see major progress in your figures.

If you already know of these then ignore what I rambled on about, if not, then I look forward to seeing some studies from you in the future.

You've got the talent now you need to ignite the flame.

i am just come in to said the you are awesome^w^amazing..........
i draw worse than you and don't really want to say much.want to hide away*W*lllll
just like Pretty_Angel said ,the man at top left,he hand are too long

and the body size & height are actually around the same as women (you rise a step drawing that man, that mens 8-pack are actually close to that womeni think you can make him bigger?) just ignore me cause i can be wrong?
you way you get used to comic make the head bigger than normal a "little" which people can spot?

keep it up^^
because you draw comic style a lot you often draw the head in a slighty bigger proportion

also, i have had a few people telling me im wrong to use posemaniacs, that im a idiot for thinking it will help.

im kind of sick of all the contradicting opinions, whos to say any way of learning something like this is wrong? if the result is getting better...

egh nevermind.

Excellent use of markers, Photoshop, Painter (?), and what appears to be Oekaki. Pretty Angel is right about the studies, although that comic involving saffron is pretty funny.
