I'm having a little trouble with my tablet, i've actually had this problem for a while but have avoided it by using larger brushes and fat strokes for painting but the time has come for some good linework. It seems that pressure jumps near the end of a stroke and becomes uneven.

I've attached an illustration with red circles around the pressure falloff.

Anyone know what's causing my line terminations to be rounded instead of crisp and sharp?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Additional: After testing out in opencanvas there's no weird tip but it does seem like the ends are a little rounder than i'd like when pulling away quickly from the stroke, only when i slowly draw out a stroke and pull away evenly will it leave a smooth point, otherwise it stops at a "nub"

It is quite common for the problem to happen in Photoshop for me. Never encounter it in Painter, Paint Tool SAI and OpenCanvas.

I think it just have something to do with Photoshop brush engine interpolation but it is only obvious on very thick diameter brush. If I ink my work in PS, I will use a small diameter relevant to the overall canvas resolution so the problem is not obvious in the final work.
