How many people do Elvis?
My brother convinced me that it's not worth spending any more time on it.
This is abandoned ...

Dsg#2, everytime I even think about posting something I look at what somone else has done, and then I dont even feel worthy anymore, but if I dont start I'll never get better, so here it is. The sword of the king seems to be up for grabs.

Schwoassamoasda - awesome scene. i love the sense of battle, with the blurred edges and what not.
tgrim - as always, very inspiring.

This sword has a flare for the dramatic.
:nopity:
one hour (and maybe 30 minutes?, I dunno) photoshop 7.0.
No bevel and emboss on this one, unlike my Superhero entry. Just brushes, a few pen-tool strokes, and some wand usage.

I thought this was a fun topic. This was mostly an exercise in playing with patterns in Painter 7.
And because I'm nothing if not petty and easily distracted by the bling of cheesey effects, I also did a cheesey and inappropriate background for it. Wouldn't want to be out-done by a lens-flare :P

Still not happy about the shading, but at least it only took about an hour to do.

This one turned out to be more about the King then the sword. Ah well, I should be working anyway <sigh> I'm gonna get fired.

quick stuff. this sword has the added advantage that you can rip open your own gut if you're not careful, leaving you free to watch your spleen spilling onto the ground, *ouch*

Black pen during renderings at work and some color from Photoshop 6.
Lots of nicks and cracks due to years of defending his kingdom...

dfacto - Really nice highlights
tgrim - I love the shadows and gritty feel

I ran out of time on this one and really didn't know what else to do with it. So, I'm leaving it as is ... kinda' moody. I like it. And funny how it kind of goes with dsg325. :D
See you all on Monday.
