Hey All,
There have been a few issues with livestream during he course of this production, of which 99 percent are solved.
problem: on demand videos going up right after the class and general technical issues.
solution: we have hired Jackie Oh to manage the IT of these programs so that we are sure there is someone who can keep an eye on any technical issues. She is an ace at IT and video production after years working in music television so I am confident we will be able to manage this easily now.
problem: missing sound file from a few minutes of my freelance course and whit missing the early intro to his.
solution: we have finally obtained a sound file for this. Jackie is editing that in and reposting asap. Whit's video is also scheduled to be fixed tomorrow. I was initially told this was resolved and got back to work on the new ca tech and dealing with the massive investment we had to make for servers to manage ca and keep it from going down on us. Jackie is on this as is Zack (those of you who see our workshops run well nowadays see Zack kicking butt to make sure everything goes smoothly). This will solve the matter h ere.
problem: three mac users have reported an issue with not being able to see the On Demand in their browser for one of the videos.
solution: We have reported this issue to livestream three times today and they should get it resolved. If they do not we will find another method for distributing videos. We will keep all affected videos up for 30 days so no one misses out.
problem: not knowing what to do if you have a technical issue like not being able to see the videos when everyone else can.
solution: please email ben.homer@livestream.com directly and cc me so I can follow along personally. my email is jmanleyATmassiveblack.com. Please also cc ohATconceptart.org as jackie will want to follow along as well. She is now in charge of technical for this stuff and together we will be sure the situation is handled.
