Hello all,
Im beginnig on computer painting,
i use photoshop for now,
here something i did,
i really would like to progress, so any critic, any tut, help, book, or whatever you can cay is VERY useful :)

the problems i see arn't really photoshop problems, they're drawing problems, your anatomy is off. the nose is all over the place. practice your drawing and measure as you draw.

I agree the drawing is quite bad,
but the thing is i didnt focus on it, i know how to draw better than that,
the only thing i m focusing on, is how to blend colors, how to achieve midtones, etc.. they re quite "technical" problem, like brush problem, layers, how to use them etc...

I like a lot your avatar, and saw some of your paintings jrr, and i like the style a lot, maybe could you explain me a little the way you work?

You've gotta set a foundation for yourself before you get to advanced techniques/mediums. That foundations is learning anatomy, life drawing, line art, values, etc. I wouldn't jump right into painting on the PC.

Like jrr said, you really need to improve your drawing skills. I would do taht before you even try to paint. Just take your time and make sure you draw EXACTLY what you see, rather than what your mind tells you to draw.
