Does the Brush Creator in Painter 11 run slow for anyone else?

I've been wanting to make some custom pastel pattern brushes but my brush creator works terribly slow. Does it run slow for anyone else?

I am on a G4, and I know that is part of the problem, but does it run pretty good on G5 processors?

Sometimes. Try clearing the tracker.

Go to Window (on the top menu bar) and open up the Tracker Palette, there's an arrow to on the right of the palette that lets you clear all.

Thanks for the advice. It didn't really help my situation, but I think I found out what did. The images I sampled from were pretty good size (6x6 at 300dpi) I rezed them down to 1x1 at 300 and it seems to help the brush creator out tremendously.

Any recommendation on the best size to sample from for making custom brushes?
