I started drawing in march this year. After careful research I bougth the book The natural way to draw and found a thread Attempting the natural way to draw (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=150375) completly dedicated to the book. Many thanks to Courtyard for starting and updating this thread. (I hope you'll keep it going and finish the book)
In between the work I did completing the schedules from The natural way to draw, which I'll spare you, I signed up for a short drawing course. The teacher gave me a picture from Matisse to draw and the result is attached. I liked the drawing so much, I framed it and it's now hanging proudly in my living room.
This is the start of my journey.

In the next five lessons I did a few studies of hands and arms. The last lesson I wanted to do another Matisse drawing because my wall looked a little empty.

I like the style of Matisse ... so I decided to buy a book with a lot of Matisse drawings. It seems good practice duplicating his drawings in between working through The natural way to draw.

Time for a change. In stead of using drawings to copy, I used pictures of Rodin's famoes kiss and thinker.

In between TNWTD stuff, I found some time to copy another Matisse.

Some practice I did for TNWTD in the last couple of weeks. I didn't save most of it, but just to give an impression. The first three are a gesture, a contour and a modelled drawing (together a sustained study).
Then there is a modelled drawing in watercoulor and the last are drapery practices (only allowed to use three shades of gray)

First a drawing of Matisse in pastel I did a few weeks ago ... not my favorite material :\
The second is a copy of a drawing by a dutch master from our golden century (conte) and the last one is a drawing I started, but didn't finish yet ...

Started another sustained study. First the extended gesture of myself in front of a mirror.

I like your idea of natural drawing and you are skilled. Keep up !

@Katia: Thanks for the encouragement
Finished the sustained study and drawing class started yesterday. Did a still live there, which a never would have done @home. Somehow I find still lives a little boring, which makes it difficult to setup a composition I like. However, if someone else does the setup and tells me to do one live gets a little simpler.
Also found a copy of a Sargent drawing I did a few weeks ago.

Did another set of extended gesture, contour and modelled drawing. Also a few sketches done with charcoal.

Yesterday I finished the thirth sustained study. The pose is the same as the prior one, only this time without clothing. Also some more sketches.
Finished my first drawing course landscape, but didn't take a photo yet.
Hmmm, the face of the modelled drawing doesn't look like me at all. Something went wrong here ...

More TNWTD stuff. The sustained study is ok I guess, but the head study is still way off ...

@HerrleerzeichenS: Thanks for the tip. I've got five Loomis books ready to print, but first I have to complete TNWTD. The schedules consume almost all the time I've got ...
I started a landscape in charcoal. Worked on it for about six hours now. I find it a real challenge how to make enough detail to trick the mind in seeing leaves.
Any tips, tricks, crits on this piece are more then welcome.

Some sketching I did in between TNWTD. As you can see I've got much to learn yet.

First one is a right angle study of my Nespresso machine. Next are gestures. I do about 25 a day, no use in posting a lot of them I think. The last one is some facial gestures.

More modelled drawings, now with bone studies.
If you look carefully, you can see the bones in the last two modelled drawings.

Finished my landscape, but not really satisfied with it.

Did a lot of the same stuff the last two weeks, so I won't post it all. After this it's modelling with black and white. Can't wait ;-)

This week a new phase in TNWTD, I now have to use black and white conte for gestures and modelled drawings. Subconsciously I should use black for the dark parts and white for the lighter parts.

More extended gestures and black and white modelled drawings. Still working a bit on the last one. Furthermore a head study in black and white.
