This is a two day demonstration and presentation and will have plenty of question and personal answer time! Marko is a phenomenal teacher and you will learn a lot. Bring an open mind. Bring open ears. Be ready to have your eyes widened. We will see you there!!!!
We have an incredible amount of money to raise for the new server systems and technology for CA and Marko has been so kind as to give his full support to this cause since CA has done so much for his life and career, as it has for us all. Huge thanks to Marko for going out of his way to see this happen and for giving back to the community as he has so much in the past. CA proceeds are, of course, going to support the cause. CA just placed an order for 25k worth of servers for this year, after the site was hit these past days with traffic. This is on top of all we pay now. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Marko, we love you. Thanks for all you do.

pants shatteringly exciting! Cant wait to see this.
I just picked up Marko's cover book recently, page after page of awe-inspiring brilliance; I love looking through the pieces with characters and noticing how each and every hand has a purpose, and/or expression to either emphasize mood or personality.
Marko is beautiful human, fantastic artist and a hand that pulls up this community of artists to a higher level.
Cheers to Marko!

That doesn't have to be the case:
http://www.speedtest.net/
Run two speedtest:
- To New York City, New York, US
- To Austin, Texas, US.
If you get a download around 2 mb/s I guess you would do okay. What I remember of the two other classes I attended to was that members from Italy were having issues and couldn't participate thanks to the lag. I don't know if that's the case with Brazil too.

Oh sorry! I ment Mbps. And the pings are rather high.
It is advised to have a (standard) broadband Internet connection. I don't know what is standard in Brazil. If you have a dial-up connection it could get really ugly for you: Lags, disconnection and such.

Heh, i figured. I'm on a 1 Mb ADSL. Do you think those pings will be a problem? what's your connection?
LostFayth
September 19th, 2009, 10:37 AM
Those pings may cause some major hiccups.
New York City:
Ping: 86ms
Down: 8.49 Mpbs
Up: 1.43 Mbps
Austin, Texas:
Ping: 267 ms
Down: 9.76 Mbps
Up: 1.19 Mbps
If I recall correctly the server of Livestream is located in New York City, so I guess that's the one that matters. I think it's Austin, TX (They're broadcasting from there) to NYC and from NYC it goes all around the world.
EDIT I'm gonna PM you. Let's not bore the others with this :P

My ping to NY is similar to yours (120ms). I guess what would get in the way of the streaming might be the download speed. Do you ever get hiccups?

Rushed home from work yesterday to watch the on demand version, only half way through it at the mo and I have got to say it is pretty damn f&$kin cool. Some really wicked insights so far and techniques. Cheers guys for putting together another cool LIVE stream.

Thank you Marko, Coro and all of CA.org for such a great class yesterday. Watching your processes and hearing you share how you work was immensely helpful. Thank you for flying out to San Francisco to teach us and share your time. I'm definitely going to get your Character Ideation download, and I look forward to your next download/class, too.
Thanks again!

Hey Guys and Gals,
Marko's On Demand Stream was taken down yesterday due to some slight digital hiccups that we noticed that could be corrected to give a better viewing experience. We hope to have the class back up and running today With a full 30 days to view from the date that it goes back up.
Our Apologies for the delay,
ConceptArt Staff.

I was just checking the store to buy it but it says it was supposed to go down on the second. Did this happen? Just curious if its safe to buy and watch it before it gets pullled.
Thanks! :)

This will be up til the fifteenth. Mucho Gracias for the support. We are doing a bunch of great things with the funds. Another few weeks and we will begin to show off all the new free tech for the site.
