attachments not showing

I can't see any attachments on any forum, links to photobucket etc working fine but all the thumbnails on the thread lists are not visible and the same goes for attachments in peoples' posts. I just wondered if this was a problem with the site here....I've never had any problem before and haven't changed anything on my computer.

I just used the attachment manager to put an image in my sb, and the image isn't showing. Don't know why.

Yeh same issue here. I'm pretty sure it's because the Massive Black thread in the Finally Finished section that got updated today/yesterday and was heavily advertised outside CA.org. It has a record amount of visitors and posts and is taking up a lot of bandwidth at the moment :P

There's a limit to the amount of posts within a certain timeframe and the amount of logged in viewers at a single time that the forums can handle. The first Online Lecture broke the server when everyone tried posting at the same time too. Guess we'll have to wait for the influx of viewers to die down a little...

How many hours was the whole site down? At least for me, I couldn't get it to load at all most of the day.

Zirngibism: Yeh it flipped on and off for me all day really. Seems it is quieting down a little in that thread now, hopefully the attachement on other parts of the site will become available soon now. Awesome avatar btw :P

If I try and access the images through the source code I get redirected to here (http://thumbshack.conceptart.org/quickfix/.jpg). quickfix.jpg seems to be an image on thumbshack.conceptart.org, but you get a 403 if you try and access there.

Too bad, I'm getting antsy without receiving my daily art fix from various sketchbook threads... Hope it's back up and running properly tomorrow, although that MB image dump in FF was absolutely amazing, so it was for a worthy cause.

same problem here but there are a few images here and there that are showing. I guess it's getting better, earlier today I couldn't see any images. I was pretty amazed to see over 1200 people in the Finally Finished section earlier today.

I think the images you can see are in your browsers memory. The attachments doesn't work.

Well from what I understand some techs came in and might have tweaked things that caused problems. Also working on solving the emailing issues so that people don't get hit with multiple emails.

Fair enough, it seemed to suspiciously coincide with the updated MB thread so :P According to Jason they were hit by traffic.
